My name is Erin Elise Evans and I am a Geography/Meteorology major in my sixth and final year of undergraduate school, and my second year at Ohio University. I previously attended The Ohio State University for Atmospheric Sciences before transferring to smaller schools desiring a simpler environment. I enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, reading, and just generally being outdoors. I am very interested in learning about the atmosphere and how weather affects our everyday lives. I’m interested in about everything from climate change, to severe weather and tornadoes, to hurricanes, and even extreme polar weather in places like the Arctic and Antarctic. I’m still unsure about what I want to do after graduation because I want to do it all, but as long as I am working with my passion for weather I look forward to any opportunity that may arise.
