Jakeb Wagner received his B.S. in meteorology in 2024. Jakeb is from Canton, Ohio where he played baseball and graduated from Canton GlenOak High School. Jakeb researched Antarctic Sea ice extent through case studies of the three biggest decreases in sea ice since 1970. Reed Timmer, Simon Brewer, and Jim Cantore are meteorologists that influenced Jakeb’s passion for meteorology growing up. Jakeb’s dream is to one day be part of the Storm Prediction Center.
