Nathan is currently a senior at Ohio University studying geography-meteorology. A 2018 graduate of Saint Charles Preparatory School, he comes from Blacklick, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. His primary interests in the field span all types of extreme weather, from severe thunderstorms to winter storms to hurricanes and everything in between. He has been an active member of the Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (OUCAMS), and is also part of the Ohio University Climate and Sustainability Ambassadors. While his life after graduation is far from set in stone, he plans to attend graduate school to receive his master’s degree, then attain a job either in operational forecasting or research. Outside of meteorology, Nathan is a road geek (he owns at least 7 road atlases), an avid sports fan (especially of the Chicago Bears and Columbus Blue Jackets), and an active follower of music charts.
