Tom is a 2013 graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. During college Tom served as President of OU-CAMS and also served as Cadet Commander of Air Force ROTC at Ohio University. Tom is currently a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and is serving as a Weather Officer at the 21st Operational Weather Squadron at Kapaun Air Station, Germany. His responsibilities include Section Officer in charge of 27 Air Force officers and enlisted personnel, as well as Production Supervisor in charge of weather products and services in support of military operations in the European and African theaters. In the future, Tom hopes to become a Battlefield Weather Officer in support of the U.S. Army, or a Wing Weather Officer for U.S. Air Force missions.

During his free time, Tom loves to travel throughout Europe and hopes to visit countries such as Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Poland, and Greece before returning home to the States. Tom is also a big German soccer fan and a season ticket holder for the local team, the 1.FC Kaiserslautern Red Devils.
