Tyler is a graduate student at Ohio University, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Geography-Meteorology. He grew up in Donnelsville, Ohio where he obtained is undergraduate at nearby Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geography in particular focus to GIS/Remote Sensing. He has long had a passion for weather, especially severe weather. Presently, he is a member of OUCAMS and is currently working with his advisor, Dr. Jana Houser, on determining a correlation between tornadogenesis, maintenance and decay with respect to surface roughness and topography. One day, he hopes to be hired on with the National Weather Service.
