Adam Roser (Board Secretary) is a 2017 Ohio University graduate who obtained his Bachelor’s degrees in Meteorology and French. Adam is currently a Lead Meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in San Diego, California and has worked there since 2018. He continues to be involved in various outreach and education events, whether it is giving weather talks to classrooms and professional organizations, or providing weather information at community events. While obtaining his Master’s in Emergency Management from Millersville University in person and online while working for the NWS, he uses his background in this area every day such as communicating with the EM community on winter storms, wildfires and heat hazards. Adam has been deployed to various counties across Southern California, as well as at the State in Sacramento, to provide decision makers with key weather updates to keep communities safe and informed.
