Kevin Thiel is a 2018 alumnus of Ohio University, majoring in Meteorology (B.S.). Today he is a Research Meteorologist at the University of Oklahoma, serving as the Satellite Liaison for the NWS Storm Prediction Center and NOAA’s Hazardous Weather Testbed. Kevin received his Meteorology M.S. in 2020 from the University of Oklahoma and is expecting to finish his Meteorology PhD in 2025. By organizing donation drives for the Scalia Laboratory for Atmospheric Analysis, he has stayed connected to the Ohio University Meteorology program and his desire to give back to a program that gave him so much. Kevin is excited to serve on the Isaac Foundation Board by supporting students in the natural sciences in new and exciting ways!
