Elijah is currently a Senior at Ohio University and is majoring in Meteorology. He is from Westerville, OH, where he competed in Cross Country and Track and Field throughout high school. Elijah is a member of the Ohio University’s Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (OUCAMS) and has served as an intern in the summer of 2023 for the NSF-funded NEPARS REU, a research internship co-hosted by both Plymouth State University and Hobart and William Smith Colleges. His weather interests lie in winter weather, polar climatology, and severe weather. Outside of class, Elijah enjoys running with people, Chess, watching sports (such as NASCAR, F1, and football), simulation and racing video games (City Skylines, Sid Meijer’s Civilization, and Forza), and listening to music from artists such as The Chainsmokers, Porter Robinson, Coldplay, Empire of the Sun, Twenty One Pilots, and Illenium (electronic, dance, ambient, pop punk, and pop rock music).
