Biography

Logan Clark recently graduated from Ohio University with an undergraduate degree in Geography-Meteorology with Honors. During his time as an undergrad, Logan was heavily involved in OUCAMS, serving as the Homecoming Chair, Hospitality Chair, working on the AMS poster committee, and as the Events Coordinator for 2 consecutive years. He also participated in the Wx Challenge, winning the forecasting tournament at Ohio University in 2015, along with 2 trophies competing nation-wide. During the summer of 2017, Logan interned at the NCAR Mesa Lab in Boulder, CO, leading to an Honors Thesis project during his senior year on pressure variability in Antarctica, along with a publication in the Journal of Climate through AMS.

Logan was accepted to Ohio University for grad school as the Associate Director of Scalia Laboratory. He has already been a paid forecaster for the lab the previous 2 years, serving as the Intern Forecaster his Junior year, and the Lead Forecaster his Senior year. Logan will be in charge of teaching the Observational Meteorology and Forecasting classes at the University, along with running the forecasting Lab, conducting research, and acquiring a M.S. in Geography.
