Manan is currently a senior at Ohio University studying Meteorology. He is from New Albany, Ohio, northeast side of Columbus, and graduated from New Albany Plain Local School on May of 2018. He is very interested in all aspects of extreme weather, but is most interested in winter and tropical weather forecasting. Manan’s interest in Meteorology began when a significant derecho event impacted majority of Ohio Valley region on June of 2012. Outside of classes, he is also a member of Ohio University’s Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (OUCAMS). Besides being deeply interested in meteorology, he is a big fan of Ohio sports along with cricket fan of national team of India. After completing his education, Manan plans to become a forecaster in government or private sector.
