Rachel Grant began her forecasting career in 2025 and is serving as the Webmaster for the 2026-2027 academic year. Originally from Delaware, she is pursuing a degree in Broadcast Meteorology and aspires to become a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist. She hopes to work for a television, news, or weather station.
Rachel is the Lead Forecaster for WOUB Public Media and is a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Board of Student Affairs, contributing to the Student Outreach and Engagement Committee. In addition, she was the first weather forecaster for The Athens County Independent and currently serves as Vice President of a local science-focused publication on campus (The Lynx Rufus).
Outside of the weather, Rachel likes to bake, listen to music, play ultimate frisbee, and spend time with her loved ones.
