Rebecca Mitten is a senior Meteorology student at Ohio University with a minor in Business. She lives in Frankfort, OH and is Secretary of the Ohio University Chapter of American Meteorological Society (OUCAMS) club as well as Treasurer for the Plant Club for 2025-2026. Rebecca loves autumn and winter weather events – including snowstorms and cool fall days – but her favorite season is spring! She loves gardening, woodworking, chickens, racing remote-controlled cars with her older brother, and collecting bricks. She also absolutely loves cirrus clouds, wants to experience diamond dust someday, and go far north to fully see the northern lights in the future!

Rebecca plans to focus more in agricultural meteorology when she graduates in December of 2026!
