Elijah is currently a Junior at Ohio University. He is an HTC student majoring in Meteorology (Geography). He is from Westerville, Ohio (a suburb of the Columbus area), where he competed in Cross Country and Track and Field throughout high school. Elijah is a member of the Ohio University’s Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (OUCAMS), having served as an intern (in the summer of 2023) for the NEPARS REU, a research internship cohosted by both Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY, and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). His weather interests lie in winter weather, climate, and severe weather such as hurricanes and tornadoes. Outside of class, Elijah enjoys running (with people), Chess, sports (such as football, basketball, NASCAR, and F1), simulation and racing games (City Skylines, Sid Meijer’s Civilization, Forza Franchise, etc.), and listening to music (favorite artists include The Chainsmokers, Coldplay, Illenium, Porter Robinson, Twenty-One Pilots, etc.)
