Elizabeth is a senior at Ohio University studying Aviation Management, with minors in Geography – Meteorology, Business, and Communications. She is an active member of Ohio University’s Flying Bobcats Precision Flight Team as well as Alpha Eta Rho. Elizabeth became interested in meteorology after watching the movie Twister growing up (the 1996 version, of course), and after a tornado passed over her grandmother’s log cabin during a bad storm in Indiana when she was younger. There was thankfully little damage, but it sparked her desire to develop a better understanding of tornado watches and warnings. Her favorite meteorological phenomenon are lenticular clouds because of how silly she thinks they look. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys gardening, cuddling with her cat, Biscuit, and riding her motorcycle. She is also a big fan of cars and airplanes.
