Hayley Flinner is from north of the Youngstown area in Ohio. She has always had in interest in weather starting from a young age and would always stare at the clouds and their formations. She likes to watch radar and the formation of storms as they grow in the atmosphere. She started her career exploration for meteorology in 2025 at Ohio University by majoring in Geography Meteorology and minoring in Communications. She also is a part of Ohio University’s Chapter of American Meteorology Society as well as the Learning Community Leader for Meteorology students.
