Jacob is from Kettering, Ohio studying meteorology. He also has a minor in mathematics and is currently pursuing a certificate in Geographic Information System (GIS). His early passion for meteorology revolved around drawing weather maps, making mock forecasts, and watching the Weather Channel. He knew for sure he wanted to major in meteorology after the 2019 Memorial Day tornado outbreak in the Dayton area. His main interest, though, lies in winter precipitation studies. After undergrad, Jacob plans to attend graduate school, after which he aspires to enter a career in operational meteorology.
