Joshua Honick grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He found to be enjoying looking at radar and thunderstorms from a young age- however he is interested in all types of weather. This led to him continuing to pursue his passion in meteorology at Ohio University in 2024. Joshua is an active member in Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society. While Joshua is interested in all types of weather events, he is most interested in extreme weather events such as tornadoes, hailstorms, and severe weather events. He hopes to one day use his skills and knowledge gained to conduct research, forecast, and spread his knowledge to help people as best as he can. Outside of meteorology, Joshua loves to golf and hang out with his family and friends.
