Forecast Discussion
A broad low-pressure system is pushing its way south from Canada which will bring us chilly Arctic air along with snow flurries much of early tomorrow. Expect around roughly 1-inch to coat the Athens region. Temperatures are expected to dip near freezing yet again Saturday with a high around 34 with a low of 25 Sunday morning. Luckily, these temperatures are not expected to stay for very long, as Sunday we will rebound with a high around 50. This warming trend will continue into next week– by Tuesday we can expect to be in the 60s!
Interestingly, Tuesday night into Wednesday we should expect our high temperature to hit early in the morning, while our low will hit later in the day as a cold front makes its way through.
