Beautiful weather persists as high pressure remains quite dominant in our area. Tonight, expect a few clouds here and there, more so after midnight, with relatively calm conditions continuing. Wednesday looks to be especially pleasant, with a high in the low 70s, partly cloudy weather, and a breeze of up to 10 mph possible. This weather will also continue into the early night of Wednesday, though nothing is beautiful because it lasts forever. Low pressure will slowly be pushing its way into the Midwest, with a stationary front creeping up north of Athens, channeling some clouds into the area in the morning hours of Thursday.

Thursday, while still quite warm at a high in the mid 70s, will be cloudier, with a slight chance of some pop up showers possible in the early morning. That low pressure will travel north of Athens as well, developing some scattered thunderstorms overnight on Thursday and into Friday. Thus far, any chances for severe weather seem minimal, though more information regarding the exact timing and strength of the storms will develop as the week continues. Once that cold front passes, the weekend looks to be a bit chillier, with temperatures back down in the low 60s. However, calmer weather with scattered clouds seems to also be in store!
