Forecast Discussion
A trough aloft and mid-latitude cyclone at the surface will slowly make its way eastward from the northern part of the country. While Tuesday could have some chances for showers, the greatest chance will be Tuesday night into Wednesday. These evening showers could have a couple of rumbles of thunder but aren’t expected to be severe nor long-lived. As the cold front associated with this mid-latitude cyclone pushes southeastward, temperatures are expected to drop back down into the upper-80s, but unfortunately, as a stationary front develops in place of the previous cold front, temperatures are likely to begin to rise into the lower-90s once again. As high-pressure slowly fills into the region once again on Thursday, clouds will rapidly decrease by the afternoon and more stable conditions will follow.
