After what seems like forever, we finally have the chance to look forward to rain in the forecast again. Several surface frontal boundary disturbances will overtake and sit around Ohio today and much of next week as a trough aloft slowly crawls its way over towards the state. While these disturbances could bring some thunderstorms, they might not be too substantial, but a rumble of thunder or two may still be heard. As a result, the Storm Prediction Center has put us under a Marginal Risk of severe weather. Thankfully, nothing too concerning is expected to come of this, though gusty winds may become a nuisance today and tomorrow at 15-20 mph with sustained winds between 5 and 10 mph both days. The remainder of the week may continue to see rain and maybe a rumble of thunder, so make sure to check back in with future forecasts to remain up-to-date with current conditions!
