Forecast Discussion

After some isolated showers this morning, rain will gradually taper off through tonight. Expect areas of fog to develop overnight.

We will see an increasing chance for thunderstorms as we head into Wednesday, with rain likely on Wednesday night. The Storm Prediction Center currently has us under a Marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe weather. However, severe storms will struggle to develop due to a lack of shear.

Over the next couple of days, the Weather Prediction Center has issued a  Slight risk (level 2 out of 4) for excessive rainfall. Wednesday’s storms could bring a good amount of rain to our area, so please be careful and watch for easily flooded areas and rising water. Thursday may bring some of the same conditions, but they are less likely.

As we move into the weekend, rain chances diminish and we’ll see more sunshine. Temperatures will rise, potentially reaching 80° on Saturday.
