A significant cooldown may greet us this week! Today will be fairly uneventful, as will the overnight, but by Tuesday a line of showers will move ahead of a cold front that will travel across Ohio today. Associated with this frontal boundary will be slightly gustier winds alongside the rain chances tomorrow. Thankfully, storm chances are fairly low, but a possible rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out. Rain is expected to impact the region for most of the day, but models are still fairly inconsistent on whether or not it could be an all-day event, or if we could get a break in the morning. Regardless, it may be a little soggy on your morning commute on Tuesday because of this rain.

After Tuesday, a cooling trend can be anticipated for the remainder of the week. Temperatures are likely to dip back down into the lower-70s with overnight lows possibly reaching the lower-40s! With high-pressure expected at the surface, overnight temperatures are likely to remain in the 40s because of clear skies, allowing plenty of overnight cooling. Early-morning temperatures this week may lead to frost, so you may get the chance to finally dust off your fall jackets this week!
