Technical Forecast Discussion Meet the Forecaster

Forecast Discussion

Significantly chillier conditions are expected for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Overnight, a cold front passed over the region, bringing us cool, dry air behind it. High-pressure will overtake the region once again, but with these clearer skies, overnight temperatures are likely to plummet into the lower-40s and possibly even the upper-30s. Frost may become a concern this week, although it’s too early to tell. If you’ve been itching to throw on your fall jacket, thankfully this week may be your chance to do so! Daytime temperatures are likely to hover in the lower-70s to upper-60s, and today and tomorrow may be slightly chillier from gusty conditions following the surface cold front. Overall, pleasant conditions, albeit fairly chilly compared to what we’ve been used to the past couple of months as temperatures finally begin to feel like October.
