Due to a sweeping cold front pushing eastward yesterday, this morning will be cloudier with a below-average high in the mid 50s. Wind gusts may get up to 25mph today, stemming majorly from the west-southwest for the remaining of our midweek and into Thursday night before coming from the north-northeast as the said cold front passes over our region. Cloud cover remains relevant for today into very early Thursday as an occluded low-pressure to the north cycles and slowly exits towards New England. Due to a forecasted low below freezing for Thursday night, frost will continue to be possible for more rural and secluded areas in our region.

High pressure slightly returns this weekend with steadily climbing highs in the low 60s, but skies will be mostly overcast. Lows will drop down to the low 30s on Friday and Saturday night, potentially allowing for some more frost, making it chilly for any Halloween festivities that may occur; be sure to bundle up and stay warm!
