This feature is advecting moisture up from the Gulf and is presently producing showers and thunderstorms over much of the Deep South and isolated cells further north into eastern KY and western WV. There will be a chance for thunderstorms tonight but that chance will increase later on into Friday afternoon and evening as this disturbance moves closer to the Athens area. Cloudy conditions will hang on around Saturday with the chance for isolated showers. Expect to see high temps remain in the low 80s.
