Intermittent rain showers will be associated with the passage of this front in the early morning hours of Tuesday followed by a modest drop in temperatures for the remainder of the day into the mid 40s. Overcast will linger for Tuesday into Wednesday as another low pressure system approaches the region. A warm front associated with this system will lift north of the Ohio River on Wednesday and bring another chance of rain as well as warmer temperatures for the Athens area.
