Forecast Discussion

The Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms for this evening. Although the main line of storms has already passed, lingering storms could have strong winds and some hail. Stay tuned to Scalia Lab and NWS Charleston for updates and storm alerts.

The rainy weather is not expected to last much longer! Showers are still on the horizon for the evening with some strong winds. The rain will move out before Easter morning, leaving some lingering clouds. The sun will make its appearance throughout the day tomorrow, with some warm temperatures. Winds will weaken until a low-pressure system moves in Monday, along with a cold front. Thunderstorms and showers are likely for Monday morning, but this will clear out by Monday night. Tuesday will be beautiful with clear skies and temperatures remaining in the 70s. A warm front is in the horizon after Tuesday, bringing us some 80-degree weather.
