Forecast Discussion

After the Winter Solstice yesterday, days are going to start getting longer! As we start our week and move into the midweek, temperatures are going to slowly climb to well above-average highs resting within the low-50s up to the low-60s on Christmas Day and Friday. Winds will slowly shift from the southeasterly to southwesterly to westerly by Tuesday night. Rain chances are strong on Monday night, but accumulation is not worrisome. Clouds will slowly begin rolling in as today moves on to end our week quite overcast and warm.

Christmas Eve is going to be quite rainy with Christmas Day so far having slight chances of rain in the morning with a high in the low 60s. This trend will continue into Friday and into the weekend, so no white Christmas in sight this year!
