The next round of rain will not come until Thursday afternoon as a cold front begins to move through the Buckeye state. These storms are likely to be severe, which is why Athens County is under a Slight Risk on Thursday. This is a level 2 out of 5 with damaging wind gusts remaining the primary threat. This disturbance is due to an abundance of moisture in the upper atmosphere and previous storms to the north supporting chances for severe weather.
