Forecast Discussion
A system will sweep through the region tonight into tomorrow, bringing warm temperatures and the chance for rain showers tomorrow morning into the midday. A line of showers is expected to push through around 11-12 pm and isn’t expected to be significant. While the rain isn’t likely to be much more than a brief shower, winds will pick up steadily between 10-15 mph throughout the day with gusts up to 25 mph as this system approaches. Conditions will dry out during the day, clearing by early Wednesday afternoon overnight into early Thursday morning. Clouds will return by Thursday morning as yet another, separate, system moves northeastward. This system will be a little bit stronger than we’ll see tomorrow, and we may even hear a rumble of thunder or two as it moves through overnight. Thankfully, these storms aren’t likely to be severe.
By the weekend, seasonal temperatures will return in the 30s. We may see another chance for precipitation Sunday morning that may dance around rain and snow; however, confidence cannot be stated this far out.
