A heat advisory remains in effect today through 8 pm tomorrow. Heat index values up to 104 are still possible today, through tomorrow, so make sure you are staying hydrated, limiting time outdoors, and staying cool!

A hot day is in store today as this heat dome persists, thankfully we just have today and tomorrow before the high pressure system keeping us hot gets pushed out due to a cold front. The overall threat for severe storms tonight has gone down but, a marginal risk remains in effect tonight through tomorrow where another marginal risk is in place tomorrow. The main threat for both days will be damaging winds but some large hail is possible as well. The Weather Prediction also still has a marginal risk for excessive rainfall for tomorrow so be weary of possible flooded areas due to heavy rain.

Saturday looks a lot cooler thanks to a cold front that pushes through and brings our temperatures back down to the low 80s for a few days but, it does look like our temperatures could rebound back to the upper 80s and low 90s mid to late next week.
