An Air Quality Alert remains in effect until midnight tonight as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to impact the region. Because of this, groups sensitive to poor air quality should limit strenuous outdoor activities if possible. In addition, visibility will be poor across the area. This smoke is expected to become widespread early tomorrow before tapering off later in the day. Expect a warm high temperature right around 90 degrees.

On Saturday, severe weather is forecast for Southeast Ohio. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) of severe weather as a line of showers and thunderstorms rumbles through during the evening hours. This will pose a threat for mainly damaging winds, although isolated instances of large hail or flash flooding cannot be ruled out. Stay weather aware!

By Sunday morning, any leftover precipitation should cease, clearing the way for a sunny afternoon with a high in the mid-80s. The start of the work week on Monday looks to feature similar weather to Sunday as well.
