Forecast Discussion

An upper-level ridge and surface high-pressure will provide subsidence and sunny skies all weekend. Highs will remain in the upper-80s and begin climbing into the low-90s. Dewpoints will be comfortable sitting around 60 to the low-60s making it feel comfortable outside. However, it will begin to become muggy again on Monday once an upper-level troughing pattern submerges transporting moisture into the area. This is all due to a low-pressure system formed over the Rockies moving northeast into the Great Lakes area. This low-pressure system will mature into an occluded low bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms for Monday and Tuesday. The system seems to stall and may continue to bring off and on rain chances throughout the week. Stay tuned for future updates!
