The National Weather Service has issued a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for Athens, OH tomorrow for severe weather. The main hazard will be strong wind gusts.

From the cloud cover building up later today, tonight will continue these overcast skies into tomorrow. Rain chances are spotty and quite light at best before amplifying later Saturday night as the cold front passes over our region. Winds will switch from southwesterly to northwesterly Saturday night as the front passes with wind gusts getting up to 30mph tomorrow and 25mph on Sunday.

From Sunday into Monday, high pressure returns and begins to clear up cloud cover, resulting in Sunday slowly becoming more sunny as the day rolls on. Monday will continue the trend of sunny and with a pleasant daytime high before stronger chances for rain return on Tuesday!
