Forecast Discussion
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch from Saturday 7:00am to 1:00 Sunday. This will be due to the already saturated grounds, and excessive rainfall may bring us 1-3 inches of rain on Saturday.
As a cold front exits our region, we’ll have a slight break from some precipitation until Friday night. With decreasing clouds this evening, our overnight low can potentially drop down to 15º. A high pressure system has been gradually moving into our region, and Valentine’s Day will be exempt from some sunshine as clouds will increase throughout the day and bring us some slight snow chances later tomorrow evening. The high pressure system will quickly move out before heavy precipitation moves in Saturday in time for the issuing of our Flood Watch.
