Forecast Discussion
After a bitterly cold weekend with some snowfall, temperatures are slowly going to start rising these next few days, causing some snow melt with an increase of sunshine. Today’s clouds will slightly clear tonight, letting the low drop down to the low teens. By Wednesday, temperatures will allow the snow to melt, potentially making the ground slippy in certain areas with winds majorly stemming from the southwest. As we move into our midweek, incoming rains will move in on Thursday from an incoming weather system; as of now, only 0.6in. of rain is expected; however, towards the end of the night and into Friday morning, the rain may become a rain-snow mix or even flurries. This rain will drop Friday’s low the low-30s before a temperature increase brings Saturday’s high up to 46ºF.
