A cut-off low pressure system is still lingering over us. I regret to inform everyone that the weather is going to remain constantly gross over the next few days. The temperature is going to drop somewhat between today and tomorrow, and the low pressure system is going to provide adequate lift in order to keep streams of precipitation heading our way.

When this pattern finally lifts around the beginning of the day Wednesday, we’ll finally see a weak high pressure system begin to take hold, and a slight warming trend as a ridge begins to build up. Skies will be partly cloudy, though, as some moisture is expected to linger around the area. Also, watch out for the forecast trend during the current system, as temperatures could trend down slightly, and we could get into the territory of maybe some frozen precipitation happening as well.
