Forecast Discussion
Unseasonably warm temperatures will continue for the first couple of days of October before a strong cold front moves through late Thursday. Temperatures through Thursday will be in the low 90s due to a high pressure system stationed in Northern Georgia. This high is currently giving us a NW wind but, as it moves eastward, winds will start to becoming southerly increasing our dew points which will make it feel quite miserable outside. Relief from the heat comes with the strong cold front that will move through late Thursday. Expect this to spark off a few showers and an isolated storm. The cold front will also drop temperatures back into the 70s for highs as we head into Friday and the first part of the weekend.
