Forecast Discussion

High-pressure will continue to remain over Ohio throughout today and tonight, but by tomorrow, and especially tomorrow evening, low-pressure will begin to develop near and towards Ohio. This low will be quite weak as it develops and moves eastward, making any chance for rain to be very minimal. Aloft, a trough will develop further behind the ridge overhead a large portion of the Midwest, and this trough is expected to develop in such a way it will allow colder air from Canada to travel southward into Ohio. Temperatures are expected to dramatically decrease into the mid-to-upper 70s with lows having the chance to reach the mid-50s! This is a much-welcomed cooldown to kick off the start the new school year.
