A mid-latitude cyclone will rapidly make its way northeast throughout today. Alongside this system, an upper-level trough will push and develop eastward. This will allow for the next few days to be gloomy and rainy, unfortunately. Rain will persist into the weekend and into early next week. Though, the temperatures are expected to remain relatively warm with the highs expected to sit in the 50s with the chance to even reach 60!

Saturday night into Sunday will be the arrival of rain and even the possibility for gusty winds. Make sure any outdoor decorations are secured. Otherwise, not much else is expected to impact Athens other than many rainy days.
