The much-anticipated warm-up is expected to arrive starting next week! The deep troughing pattern that has kept much of the region in frigid conditions will move out by this Saturday. Zonal flow will fill in its place which will keep Athens dry and stable. The high-pressure that will settle today into tomorrow will unfortunately get pushed out by a large line of low-pressure, but there isn’t much of a chance for precipitation. Clouds will primarily dominate this weekend as temperatures increase. The start of next weekend could see some warmer temperatures as a ridge pushes through, but don’t hold your breath just yet!
