Forecast Discussion

An upper-level ridging pattern will continue through Wednesday associated with a high-pressure system in the midwest. This will bring us pleasant and dry conditions for the next few days. Mostly calm winds are expected with Tuesday afternoon being the exception with lows near 60 degrees through Wednesday and highs in the mid to upper-80s Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, expect hot and dry conditions with temperatures reaching 90 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

However, the pattern will change on Thursday with an associated low-pressure system up in Canada and one out to the west. This will bring a couple of shortwave patterns within the longwave pattern bringing some chances for showers and a few thunderstorms. A stationary front will accompany the low-pressure system, so expect wet conditions heading to the end of the work week and into the weekend.
