High pressure begins to slide eastward bringing in a SW flow that will bring in more moisture and warmer temperatures in the upper 80s. Today will remain dry across much of the region with some patchy fog possible late tonight. The area will remain in the upper 80s through Monday with mostly sunny skies with lows in the lower 60s. The quite summer pattern continues into early next week as the high pressure stays locked in. Our next disturbance moves in by late Monday night and into Tuesday. On Tuesday, a cold front will move through the area bringing with it showers and thunderstorms. Heavy downpours are a possibility as well as strong winds.
