High-pressure continues to dominate over Ohio. Skies are expected to clear out for the most part allowing for wonderfully sunny skies. Despite the amplitude of sun, temperatures will stay relatively cool with minimal wind in the days ahead. Thanks to stability in the atmosphere on top of all of this high-pressure, Athens will stay dry for most of the work week. Temperatures are expected to rise thanks to an upper-level ridge allowing for southerly winds to transport warmer air and the possibility of rain Friday. This could possibly include the chance for storms, but it’s too far out to tell for certain. Make sure to check back here later this week for a clearer picture!
