A rather quiet pattern is setting up over the region now after a couple of days with some more active weather. Clouds will be somewhat present today, keeping the temperature in the low-80s this afternoon, and with comfortable dew points, it should feel nice outside and not too sticky! A nice high-pressure system over the Great Lakes is to thank for this pleasant weather. These conditions are expected to stay the same on Monday to start off the week.

The same surface high-pressure system is anticipated to remain dominant over the forecast region through mid-to-late next week, and a very weak cold front is being forecast to sweep through Wednesday, bringing temperatures down even cooler into the high-70s as we head into the last part of the work/school week.

With classes starting up on Monday, the entire week looks to be very nice, with clear, dry, and warm temperatures that are just slightly above average for this time of year!
