Forecast Discussion

Dry air will follow the cold front from Wednesday, leading to clear and dry conditions today. Moisture will arrive this evening as another cold front approaches from the northwest. Storms and showers will be possible mid day on Friday as the cold frontal boundary passes over the region. Precipitation continues into Saturday as showers become more prevalent than storms as the front becomes stationary. A low pressure system will form to the east as an upper level trough over the Great Lakes deepens. Storms will be possible Sunday afternoon and continue to be possible into Monday as low pressure continues to create conditions favorable for precipitation. Tuesday will be a temporary break from precipitation as high pressure moves into the Midwest.
