Forecast Discussion

Some lingering showers will exist this morning and early afternoon, but dry air behind the cold front will push out moisture and cloud cover. Starting tonight, cool, dry air will follow behind the frontal boundary resulting in strong cold air advection, which will give the area more seasonal temperatures for the upcoming weekend. A wavy upper level pattern and large jet streak create unstable conditions for Friday night and Saturday, possibly resulting in one or two showers. Another cold front will push through on Sunday and after that a small ridge will pass through, followed by another cold front all within the span of Sunday to Tuesday.
