A low pressure system will move closer to the region during the later half of today resulting in continued showers and a increased chance of storms. Rain showers today and tonight could be heavy at times, mainly during storms. The center of the low stalls out late tonight into Wednesday as a stationary continues to hang over the state resulting in continued rain and occasional thunderstorm. A stronger low pressure system will move into the area late Wednesday which will finally have enough energy to create defined fronts out of the stationary boundary and push it out of the region. Rain and storms will conclude on Thursday as a cold front moves south through the region as dry air and localized high pressure from the Appalachians create clear conditions for Friday. A warm front from another incoming low pressure system will create a small chance for rain and storms on Saturday.
