Forecast Discussion

With the cold front past the area, dry air will move in along with zonal flow today. High pressure will also be present south of the region making today nice and relatively clear. Clear conditions remain tonight as there are no distinct changes in the weather pattern for Tuesday night. A shortwave trough will be present on Wednesday, but precipitation is only expected north of the region as localized high pressure will be in the Appalachians in West Virginia. Conditions will be clear until Friday/Saturday as moisture moves in to create some clouds covers and possibly some rain if the stationary boundary to the north moves closer to the region at the end of the forecast period.
