Forecast Discussion

A layer of fog is expected until the late morning today. High pressure over West Virginia influences the weather pattern until Wednesday as few to no clouds enter the region today. This is due to zonal upper level flow creating enhancing calm conditions. Temperatures will be in the low 80s today as SW winds bring in warmer air. Tonight will be relatively clear with lows in the low 60s. Developing low pressure in the Central Plains brings a warm front over the region. This will put SE Ohio in the warm sector on Wednesday resulting in a hotter day with highs in the mid 80s. Precipitation ahead of the approaching cold front will be in the area on Thursday and continue through Friday with thunderstorms possible. High pressure will return to the area on Saturday.
