Today, light early morning rain showers are expected to stop with the building of a high-pressure system to our southeast. Cold, dry air will move in behind this precipitation, causing temperatures to reach only as high as 49 to 50 degrees. Temperatures will continue to cool into tonight due to minimal cloud cover and will reach below freezing around 28 and 29 degrees. Widespread frost is expected early into Wednesday morning / late Tuesday night because of this. Wednesday highs are not expected to reach above 48, with scattered clouds and sunshine throughout the day. Wednesday night is still predicted to be chilly at a low of 30 to 31 degrees. Precipitation is unlikely throughout this period, however northeast Ohio is expected to see its first snow of the season.
